Problem
Rodney needed to get a Texas driver’s license. Representing himself at an earlier hearing, he had tried to get Michigan to issue a clearance but was denied. He turned to me for help. On Rodney’s behalf, I submitted a favorable substance use disorders evaluation, drug screen, affidavit, 6 very strong letters of support, treatment records, and a very convincing statement by Rodney.
Result
The hearing officer found the documentation convincing and issued a clearance of his Michigan driving record so that Rodney could obtain a Texas driver’s license.
Bottom line
Rodney now has a Texas driver’s license.
